Burak OĞLAKCI is a research assistant at the Department of Geography at Celal Bayar University in Manisa and is pursuing his doctoral studies at Balıkesir University. He was born in the Bozkır district of Konya and completed his high school education at Bozkır Zengibar Anatolian High School. He was accepted into the Geography Department at Balıkesir University in 2014 and graduated in 2018. He began his master's degree in the same department and completed his thesis titled "Electoral Geography With Social Media Mining: Ankara in the Example of the March 31, 2019 Local Election" in 2021. This study was the first thesis in Turkey to utilize social media data, natural language processing and machine learning techniques in the field of geography. His research focuses on various aspects of the interaction between artificial intelligence, big data, and geography.
