Abstract

F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (F-18 FDG PET) is becoming a standard imaging modality in the diagnosis, staging and evaluation of therapy response for most malignant diseases. The purpose of the present review is to update existing knowledge about the value of FDG PET in testicular cancer together with a summary of the literature.
