Abstract

In this paper the alternating group explicit (AGE) iterative methods which is modified analogues of the classical alternating direction implicit (ADI) methods, are introduced. Helmholtz equation is transformed a linear system using by suitably finite difference equations and also the solution of this system is done with AGE methods. Numerical striking results are obtained by using Maple V computer programming. © 2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
