Bu çalışmanın amacı, İzmir ili Karabağlar ilçesinde görev yapan polislerin tükenmişlik düzeylerini belirleyerek bazı demografik değişkenler (cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, eğitim seviyesi, meslekteki toplam çalışma süresi, çalışılan birim) açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmaya 2014 yılında Karabağlar İlçe Emniyet Müdürlüğünde çalışan ve kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş 153 polis katılmıştır. Kişisel Bilgiler için Kişisel Bilgi Formu , tükenmişlik düzeylerini belirlemek için deMaslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için t testi veTek yönlü varyans analizi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, araştırmaya katılan polislerin tükenmişlik düzeylerinin yaş ve meslekteki toplam çalışma süresi (kıdem) değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdiği saptanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine whether there is a differentiation of burnout levels of policemen in terms of some demographic variables (sex, age, marital status, education level, working hours in the profession, rank, work unit) This study is conducted on 153 policemen of Karabağlar Police Department in 2014 by using easily accessible sampling method. The information concerning the independent variables was collected throughPersonal Information Form . The information concerning the burnout levels of police, which serves as the dependent variable in this study, was collected by using Maslach Burnout Scale . t Test and one way analysis of variance(ANOVA) were conducted for data analysis. According to the results of the study, there is a significant difference in the burnout levels of the policemen in terms of age and the total time spent in the job (seniority).
