Abstract

A new species Alpiscorpius orgelisp. nov. is described based on morphological evidence from Demirci District of Manisa Province in western Turkey. With this addition, the number of scorpion species recorded in Turkey now stands at 22 for the Euscorpiidae family and five for the genus Alpiscorpius. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:AAB28EC5-501C-4681-B780-8193F211EFED.
