Abstract

A new species Lachesana bayramgocmeni sp.n. is described based on both sexes from Cyprus. The new species is compared in detail with L. blackwalli (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1872). New data on the distribution of L. blackwalli in Turkey and Cyprus are presented.
